The inGeneas Immigration database, the inGeneas Passenger List database plus the National Archives of Canada Miscellaneous Immigration List include almost 40,000 records spanning from 1748 to 1881.
We are not aware of any other site on the internet that provides searchable access to such a broad array of Canadian passenger and immigration records.

The Emigrants from the Waasland (Flanders, Belgium) to the United States and Canada 1830-1950
Georges Picavet is preparing a study of the emigration from the Waasland (Belgium) to the United States and Canada between 1830 and 1950. This study will result in the publication of a book relating the emigrants individual histories, set in the frame of social history with a local focus.

Emigration from Germany to America
The famous book series "Germans to America" indexes passenger arrival lists from US ports, giving names, ages, occupations and sometimes paces of origin for many German immigrants, grouped by families. It also lists the ship, ports and the date of the passenger ship list. Unfortunaly it is not online - yet.
